The auspicious hour for receiving and offering Bhaitika this year is 11:55 am on Friday (November 14), said Nepal Calendar Determination Committee.
The auspicious hour for this year's Bhaitika (the main celebration of the five-day Tihar festival) that falls on November 13 is 11:55 am, but tika ceremony can be observed throughout the day after that time, Committee Chair Prof Dr Ramchandra Gautam said.
The Tihar festival also known as Yama Panchak begins from November 9. Tihar is the second biggest festival of Nepalis after the Badha Dashain festival. RSS
