Schools in Siraha that were closed due to the ongoing protests by Samyukta Loktantrik Madhesi Morcha have reopened from Monday. The schools have resumed their classes after the agreement made between protesting parties and the private school owners and teachers.
Morcha district co-ordinator Kishori Yadav informed that the locals had complained the protestors that the children have not been able to study, due to which they allowed the schools to resume classes.
Chief District Officer Manbahadur BK said that private and community schools have re-opened after the agreement with Morcha.
The students have been excluded from going to school due to Morcha’s ongoing banda since 86 days.
