Due to the protest movement in the Tarai-Madhes for over three months, the supplies including medicine has been disrupted, resulting in a shortage of medicines in the country, said Deepak Dahal Vice-chair of the Association of Pharmaceutical Producers of Nepal (APPN).
He clarified that there was no shortage of medicines to the extent as reported by the media except a few medicines.
He added that the medicines would be supplied even by re-routing the medicine-carrying vehicles for their entry into the country.
