CPN-UML district leaders have threatened to quit the party if the party doesn’t address the demands of the agitating Madhesi people.
The leaders have blamed their party-led government of ignoring the Madhesi demands despite over 100 days of protests in the Tarai region.
Organising a press meet in Lahan on Wednesday, Siraha-2 regional Chairman Kedarnath Yadav warned to walk out of the party if the demands were not heeded soon.
The leaders also withdrew the attention of the government over crippling conditions of daily life in the Tarai region.
