Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Kamal Thapa will visit United Kingdom to take part on a programme to mark the 200th anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic relation between the two countries.

An official at the Foreign Ministry said Thapa will discuss the latest political developments including the promulgation of the constitution, Indian blockade and recent tensions in the Madhesi region during his visit.

Nepal has taken objection to the joint statement issued by India and UK regarding to the Nepal’s constitution drafting process.
