YAN submits 35-point memo to Minister Mandal
A delegation of CPN-UML affiliated youth wing Youth Association Nepal (YAN) met Minister for Youth and Sports Satya Narayan Mandal on Saturday and submitted a 35-point memorandum. The memorandum demands establishment of a sports university and a football ground in each electoral constituency, providing unemployment allowance and creating an employment opportunity to each youth.A delegation of CPN-UML affiliated youth wing Youth Association Nepal (YAN) met Minister for Youth and Sports Satya Narayan Mandal on Saturday and submitted a 35-point memorandum. The memorandum demands establishment of a sports university and a football ground in each electoral constituency, providing unemployment allowance and creating an employment opportunity to each youth.
Other demands include participation of youths in productive areas, representation of youths in every state organs based on their population and proper implementation of fundamental rights of youths to education, health and employment among others.
In response, Minister Mandal pledged that he would do his best to address the demands of the youth.
Led by YAN chairman Rajib Pahari, the delegation includes Dil Kumari Panta, Ramesh Poudel, Bachan Bahadur Singh, Parshuram Basnet, Rajesh Shah and Prabhat Bikram Katuwal, all of the YAN, among others.
