Nepal's Kung-fu team return victorious

Nepal bagged a total of 12 gold medals, six silvers and one bronze medal in the competition participated by 17 different countries, said Nepal's coach Sukman Lama. Indian team secured the second spot in the competition.
In the games held from December 3 to 6, Nepal's Ramesh Nepali, Surya Lama and Bikash Lama won double gold medals in Thaula and Sanda Kung-fu.
Shristi Shrestha won a gold medal in Thaula Kung-fu and bronze in Sanda Kung-fu while Madan Bishwokarma, Laxman Chaulagain, Chirag Poudel and Rabindra Magar won a gold medal each in Sanda Kung-fu.
In the same category, Yukta Yuwa, Manjita Tamang, Nabin Bahadur Saru, Ram Chaulagain and Sagar Tamang won a silver medal each.
Nepal Uma Kang-fu Association Chairman Udav Thapa Magar, Secretary Sidhartha Lama among others welcomed the victorious Nepal team at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) on Monday. RSS
