Activists performed a dance as a part of the "Orange the World: 16-Day Campaign Against Violence Against Women and Children" at New Baneshwor, Kathmandu on wednesday. The event is being observed world-wide from November 25 to December 10, 2015.
The campaign aims to eliminate the gender-based violence against women. The Orange events are planned in more than 70 countries around the world ahead of and throughout the 16 days (Nov 25- Dec 10).
The UN has invited all to use the orange colour to symbolise a brighter future without violence. The campaign is being celebrated from November 25 to December 10.
