UCPN (Maoist) mooting federal-friendly party structure

The UCPN (Maoist) is set to come up with the six-month organisation consolidation plan to make the party robust and effective. 

The party is mooting the plan to bring on board other forces which are different in existence but with political faith on Maoist ideology. 

The drive for organisational strengthening of the party will be put in place up to coming six months in the first phase, said party Spokesperson Dinanath Sharma. 

It may be noted that many party leaders in the central committee meeting that kicked off from December 1 urged the leadership to come up with party consolidation plan of action and chart out plan for the smooth implementation of the constitution promulgated through Constituent Assembly. 

They had also stressed the need to redraw the party structure in consistent with seven provincial setup envisaged by the constitution. 

The UCPN (Maoist) is prepared to entrust the responsibility of the province to the standing committee member or senior politburo member. RSS
