State Minister Dinesh Chandra Yadav has been allocated the task to look after Drinking Water and Sanitation, Damodar Bhandari has been appointed as state minister of finance, Bal Bahadur Mahat has been appointed as the state minister for culture, tourism, and civil aviation, Naradevi Pun has been appointed as state minister for livestock development, Manju Kumari Chaudhari has been assigned the ministry of urban development and Deep Narayan Sah has been appointed as state minister for law.
All six state ministers are from the CPN-UML.
Newly elected minister state ministers will be sworn in on Friday itself. Though the ministers were appointed on December 24, they could not take the official oath. The size of PM Oli’s Cabinet has become 40-member.
