India has extended a financial assistance of Rs 44.16 million to Nepal Netra Jyoti Sangh (NNJS) for organising Eye Care Programme in various districts.
Kathmandu-based Indian Embassy signed a memorandum of understanding to this effect with NNJS, a non-profit organisation, as a part of Nepal–India Cooperation Programme of the Government of India at Hotel Himalaya in Lalitpur on Tuesday.

Prof Tirtha Prasad Mishra, among other distinguished members, were present at the MoU signing.
