UCPN (Maoist) Chairman on Wednesday described his former deputy Baburam Bhattarai as a representative character of bourgeois and capitalism.UCPN (Maoist) Chairman on Wednesday described his former deputy Baburam Bhattarai as a representative character of bourgeois and capitalism.
Speaking at a programme organised at the party headquarters, the Maoist Chairman said that Bhattarai abandoned the agenda of “people’s war” and changes brought by it.
Of late, particularly after Bhattarai decided to sever ties with the Maoist party following the promulgation of the constitution in September, Dahal and Bhattarai have been publicly involved in blame-game.
Bhattarai is in the process of formation of new political party and has made some scathing remarks against Dahal in public platforms.
Dahal said Bhattarai abandoned the revolutionary party and embraced the agenda of bourgeois.
In a separate context, Dahal said that the tasks of rebuilding the UCPN (Maoist) have gathered the momentum soon after the promulgation of the new constitution. He said the party has completed orientation programmes in all state committees.
“I want to make a commitment that the UCPN (Maoist) will again bounce back and emerge as the largest party in the country within next two years,” Dahal said.
He also said that political revolution was yet to be completed.
