Thirteen-year-old Nepali swimming sensation has kept up her medal winning run in the ongoing 12 South Asian Games, adding another bronze medal to her name in the 400 metres free style category on Tuesday.
Gaurika broke the national record set by her fellow teammate Sophia Shah completing the 400 metre swim in 5.97.91 minute. She had earlier won a bronze medal for Nepal in the 150 metre breast-stroke category.
Likewise, Nepali archer Prem Prasad Pun also secured a bronze medal in singles category after defeating his Sri Lankan competition 3-0.
Nepal’s medal tally with today’s two bronze medal has reached 17.
