Following party President Sushil Koirala's death, Nepali Congress is holding is Central Working Committee (CWC) meeting at 11 am to take a decision about the possible postponement of General Convention that is scheduled to take place between March 3-6.

According to party leaders, the ongoing conventions of district committee would be postponed for a couple of days.

According to new constitution, parties will have to hold their general conventions within 5 five years with a possible extension of 6 months. NC will have to convene its convention within March to meet that requirement.
