Swaraj confirmed the visit through a tweet and informed she will be accompanied by Anand Sharma, Deputy Leader of opposition in Rajya Sabha, the upper house of the Indian Parliament, Janata Dal leader Sharad Yadav, Communist Party of India (Marxist) leader Sitaram Yechury and National Security Adviser to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Ajit Doval.

The Indian foreign minister will also meet Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli today after paying tribute to Koirala.
She will return home at 8 pm today itself.
