The police arrested Tulasi Ghimire, 22, alias Arjun, Sandip pariyar, 23, of Sainamaina-10 and Khima Giri, 36, of Gulmi, Bhurtung along with a pistol, eight rounds of bullet and a pulsar bike, Lu 15 Pa 161. They were made public in a press conference on Thursday.
According to the police, Giri planned and Ghimire and Pariyar assisted to kill Kafle. Giri had personal grudges against the victim, it is learnt.
The convicts had left a “Tarai Mukti Morcha” written pamphlet on the scene. Pariyar and Ghimire, who had fled after the murder, were arrested from Hetauda. Khima was detained from her house. All three have accepted their involvement in the incident.
Ghimire was earlier sentenced to one year in jail for drug abuse. Butwal police DSP Mahendra Khadka informed that the case has been forwarded for murder.
