Nine paragliders rescued from Fewa lake (Update)

Nine paragliders, who fell into the Fewa lake in Pokhara, were rescued by police here in Kaski district on Tuesday. All the paragliders were foreigners.

Nine contestants participating in the ongoing 17th edition of Pre-World Cup Paragliding fell into the lake after a strong gust of wind started blowing. Seven paragliders were rescued from Khapaundi and two were rescued from Kyaping Chok, Regional Police Office Pokhara informed.
