The closed session of Nepali Congress’s 13th National Convention is underway at Bhrikutimandap.

Party General Secretary Prakash Man Singh has submitted reports related to party's organisation and finance in the session.

Likewise, central member Mahesh Acharya submitted policy and programme prepared by party’s acting President Ram Chandra Poudel in the session.

Singh's report has proposed amendments to the party's statute with making the Central Working Committee more inclusive, according to party Publicity Department Chief Minendra Rijal.

The reports to be presented in the closed session will be endorsed after amendments based on feedbacks from the Convention representatives.

Leader Rijal said that the discussion will be held on provincial structure of the party. Rijal informed that party will be transformed in line with the federal structure of the country after the conclave.

The NC's 13^th National Convention is taking place here from Thursday. A total 3,175 representatives from across the country are taking part in the closed session that began from Friday afternoon. The Sunday's session is expected to hold the election for the new working committee, the NC National Convention Central Election Commission said.
