Baglung
Over a dozen houses were reduced to cinders when a fire broke out at Dhullubaskot-1 in the district on Saturday morning.
However, no human causality has been reported as the fire-affected people escaped the incident by rushing out of the burning houses, local people said.
Local resident Santosh Dagami said the blaze burnt down 14 houses and has posed risk to nearby Kiteni village with the fire spiraling out of control.
He said that police from the Area Police Office at Bareng and local people were finding it hard to douse the fire fuelled by storms.
Dagami said local people at risk of the fire have been requested to move to safety. RSS
