The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police has arrested a pilot for producing fake academic credentials to pursue aviation study.
Bishal Karki, who was working as co-pilot for Goma Airlines, has been arrested for submitting fake academic certificate of Intermediate of Science (ISc) to become a pilot, said CIB Chief DIG Nawaraj Silwal.
Karki was arrested from Kupondol three days ago, saying that the ISc certificate he produced to study pilot was fake. He had studied ISc at Amrit Science Campus in the year 2062/63.
He completed aviation course from Delta Air International Aviation Academy in 2009/10 and recently returned from the US after completing ATPL course.
