A meeting of the Federal Alliance, a group of 27 Madhes-based parties including the Samyukta Madhesi Morcha, is scheduled to be held at Sanghiya Samajwadi Forum Nepal (SSFN) party office in Tinkune on Thursday.

SSFN Chairman Upendra Yadav informed that the meeting will commence from 2pm today and will discuss on the upcoming programmes of protest scheduled from May 14 onwards.

Tarai Madhes Loktantrik Party Chairman Mahanta Thakur, who is leaving for Delhi, will not attend today’s meeting.

A leader of the Morcha informed that today’s meeting will discuss the protest programmes and issues of power-sharing in the new government.
