Some influential NC leaders have expressed their discontent with their party president's working style, accusing him of trying to tarnish the party's image by engaging in a game to topple the government.
Over a dozen party central members gathered at a place in the Capital on Friday in this regard and later the team of the central members led by Prakash Man Singh met Deuba at latter's residence in Budhanilkantha in the Capital and drew his attention towards the matter.
The team includes NC treasurer Sita Devi Yadav, central members Ananda Prasad Dhungana, Dilendra Prasad Badu, Dr Minendra Rijal, Mahesh Acharya and Dil Bahadur Gharti among others.
They also asked Deuba to take the party ahead on the basis of its institutional decisions.
Taking exception to the act of Deuba deciding on important issues unilaterally, they concluded that negative results started coming in due to Deuba's act of trying to topple the government without discussing serious matter like this one within the party.
They also urged NC President Deuba to take any decision after discussion within the party in the days ahead.
On his part, Deuba pledged to discuss any matter within the party before taking any such decision in the days to come. RSS
