Police to provide free bus service in view of public vehicle strike

The Police, through a post on their official facebook page, announced the free bus service along with the list of two routes.
The first route of the Police bus will travel from Naxal, Jay Nepal, Putalisadak, Maitighar, Thapathali, Pulchwok, Jawalakhel, Ekantakuna, Balkhu, Kalanki, Rabibhawan, Kalimati, Tripureshwor, Nagsthan, New Road gate, Jamal, Durbarmarg, Jay Nepal and back to Naxal.
The second route will also begin its service from Naxal and head towards Lhotse Chwok, Gyaneshwor, Ratopul, Gaushala, Airport, Sinamangal, Koteshwor, Tinkune, New Baneshwor, Maitighar, Thapathali, Tripureshwor, Nagesthan, New Road gate, Jamal, Lainchaur, Lazimpat, Talim Kendra, Narayan Gopal Chowk and back to Talim Kendra, Baluwatar and finally Naxal.
Transport entrepreneurs have called a strike on Thursday against the government decision to hike fines for traffic rule violations. All public vehicles are off the road since early morning and some cases of vandalism have also been reported in Kathmandu.
