With the resumption of the highway hundreds of containers to and from Kyirung checkpoint along Nepal-China border have become mobile, according to the traffic police source.
The debris of landslide caused by incessant rain this morning was removed using the dozers of Division Road Office to resume the vehicular operation.
The Road Office has shared that preparatory works have been already initiated to prevent landslide in Mulkharka.
Meanwhile, the power house of Chilime Hydropower with 22-MW capacity has been closed down after the national transmission line nearby Dhunche saw technical glitch at 11.00 this morning.
Efforts are on to repair and resume the operation of power house centre, the Chilime Hydropower Project office said. With the operational disruption of power production the electricity supply has been put on hold. RSS
