Talking to journalists after the adjournment of House meeting for four times on Monday due to protest from the main opposition, NC leader Ram Sharan Mahat accused the ruling party of being reluctant for the formation of a probe committee.
"Our demand has not been addressed and the government has not yet responded to the demand for the formation of the committee", he told journalists gathered at parliament complex.
He expressed Congress' readiness to hold discussion on the budget.
However, ruling party CPN-UML parliamentarian Bamdev Gautam said that it is obvious on part of opposition to protest the budget. There is no such big blunder in the budget for correction, he said.
UML Vice-Chairperson Gautam also said that obstruction to parliamentary meeting would inflict the NC itself. There is no point for formation of a probe committee since no such grave mistake has been made in the budget, he clarified that the government has not leaked any information to media prior to budget presentation at the parliament.
