Kanchanpur
The work for construction of four concrete bridges at various locations in Kanchanpur under an investment of Rs 660 million has started.
The tender deal was signed for completing the construction within the next three years whereas the construction work itself will start from the running fiscal year.
Two bridges will be built over Dekhatbhuli – Parsiya area and Belauri – Bhakunda area over the Doda river. The construction of the two bridges – each 211 meters in length – has started, Division Road Office, Mahendranagar Engineer, Gyanendra Kalauni said.
The locals of Dekhatbhuli and Shankerpur are usually cut off from the headquarters in monsoon due to absence of a bridge over the river. RSS
