B. P. Koirala India-Nepal Foundation and Embassy of India organised a programme under its ‘Voices’ series as part of celebrations of the 2^nd International Day of Yoga on Monday.

During the occasion, Minister of Culture, Tourism & civil Aviation, Anand Prasad Pokharel highlighting the benefits of yoga announced that the government is all set to organise an event to celebrate the 2^nd International Day of Yoga at Darbar Marg on 21^st June at 7AM.

Likewise, Yoga Consultant of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Dr HR Nagendra and Swami Anand Arun of Osho Tapoban highlighted the need for meditation as part of yoga practices. 

Similarly, Indian Ambassador to Nepal Ranjit Rae remarked that Yoga was the common heritage of Nepal and India and its regular practice would improve not only physical health but also mental & spiritual well-being.
