An adult tiger was found dead at a bridge inside the Chitwan National Park (CNP) on Saturday.
The tiger was found at the bridge on the way from Sauraha to Kasara. CNP Chief Conservation Officer, Ram Chandra Kandel, said the tiger was already decomposing when found. He added the tiger's body was buried after an examination carried out at Park's Chief Office in Kasara.
Kandel said the tiger died of natural causes and old age. A tiger usually has a life span of 20 years. There are a total of 120 grown-up tigers in CNP, according to a 2013 data. RSS
