Dahal zeroes in on names from his party

Dahal has zeroed in on the names of his ministers from the party and would submit them before party’s 23-member headquarters for endorsement, said informed sources.
According to leaders, the Maoist Centre is preparing to send Hitraj Pande, who is currently the chief whip of the parliamentary party, DR Poudel, Sita Nepali, Shiva Mandal alongside Krishna Bahadur Mahara, Janardan Sharma and Ram Karki to the
government.
Some party leaders, who were ministers in the UML-led government, have urged Dahal to allow them to complete the projects they initiated while in the government.
Dahal also held a brief consultation with NC President Sher Bahadur Deuba on Tuesday and discussed about formation of a national consensus government as called by the President.
Also on Tuesday, Dahal’s key aides Krishna Bahadur Mahara and Barshaman Pun held informal discussion with Deuba’s aides Bimalendra Nidhi and Ramesh Lekhak.
Leaders said the issues would be put forth in separate meetings of the two parties that are sharing the new government, slated for Wednesday.
The Maoist Centre is holding its meeting of the central party office on Wednesday to discuss on the government formation process.
