The OnePlus 3 has created a global buzz since its unveiling.
The set features Dash Charge—a fast charging technology—which adds 61 percent battery life, equal to a day’s power, in 30 quick minutes.
“For the first time in Nepal, a phone that has 6 GB RAM has been introduced,” said Sirish Murarka, director of iHub. “The OnePlus 3 offers top-of-the-line performance, and because of penetration pricing, it costs less than similar phones in the market.”
Dash Charge replenishes more than 60 percent of the 3,000 mAh battery in 30 minutes and continues fast charging even when users engage in high intensity activities like streaming video or playing high definition games.
Moreover, with seven custom safety measures in place to safeguard the adaptor, cable and phone, heat displacement has been enhanced relative to previous phones from One Plus.
The 16 mega pixel rear camera on the OnePlus 3 provides imaging with incredible detail and clarity. Bundled with a suite of imaging technologies like Smart Capture with functions like HD Mode, Auto HDR and Dynamic De-noise, post-processing of images has been improved.
The OnePlus 3 also includes Smile Capture feature, allowing users to take photos with the 8 mega pixel front camera by simply smiling. Dual-stabilization technologies—Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS)—reduce blur ensuring high quality photos. Moreover, photography enthusiasts can make use of the robust manual mode offering benefits of a DSLR like ISO, exposure adjustment, fine tuning and RAW image support.
“The design of the OnePlus 3 takes aesthetics, quality and usability to a new level,” said Lokesh Oli, another director of iHub. “We have received more than 200 pre-booking orders in just four days, and selected retailers have also pre-booked the phone enthusiastically as sales of the previous model, the OnePlus X, surpassed all expectations.”
According to Oli, the phone’s performance is no less than other high-end phones in the market and it comes at an affordable price. The OnePlus 3 is available from kaymu.com, olizstore.com and other retail outlets across major cities for Rs49,900.
The 7.3 mm OnePlus 3 is one of the thinnest flagship mobile sets from the Chinese phone maker. The phone has a 5.5-inch 1080p Optic AMOLED display and is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor (up to 2.2 GHz).
“The OnePlus 3 was designed to deliver maximum performance. It performs tasks 35 percent faster than the previous OnePlus 2 and features a 40 percent boost in graphical power—all at a fraction of the power consumption,” the company said in a statement.
The OnePlus 3 boasts 6 GB RAM, a durable ceramic fingerprint sensor that improves accuracy with increased use, Android Marshmallow-based Oxygen OS, off-screen gesture and UI customization allowing users to personalise the smartphone experience, the company said.
