Govt likely to bring supplementary budget

Finance Minister Mahara made such disclosure at a press conference organised at the Finance Ministry on Sunday. Discussion was underway in the Ministry on bringing the supplementary budget. Similarly, the government was making preparation to pass the budget-related bills- the Bill to Raise Domestic Debt and the Loan and Guarantee Bill early.
The Finance Minister also informed that Legislature-Parliament has already passed the Nepal Rastra Bank Act 2058 (2nd Amendment Bill) and the Employees' Provident Fund-2019 (9th amendment bill) and Auditing Act- 2048 (first amendment bill).
According to him, the government was also planning to amend the procedure on receiving donation for post-quake reconstructions.
Although he said significant agreements would be made with India during upcoming India visit of the Prime Minister, he did not divulge further on it. RSS
