Various lawmakers, speaking in the special hour of the Legislature-Parliament on Sunday aired their views on the contemporary issues. 

Ram Krishna Yadav was of the view of making no further delay in amending the constitution and stressed on the need for political unity for the same. 

He spoke of the need for addressing food crisis in Karnali and accelerating the post-earthquake reconstruction efforts. 

Pashupati Chaulagain, accusing the state of becoming weaker in the promotion of transparency, demanded that no guilty of Tikapur violence should be granted a pardon under any circumstances. 

Karna Bahadur BK demanded that all state bodies should be serious towards addressing the problems facing by the people of Bajura. 

Yogendra Chaudhary took the opportunity to blame political parties for demonstrating non-political character. He was of the view of not making the constitution amendment issue more complicated. 

Ekwal Ahamand Saha accused the government of not taking the voices of House seriously. He sought government's accountability to the House. 

Narsingh Chaudhary claimed the suppression by the state in the Kailali incident. 

CPN (ML)'s CP Mainali urged Prime Minister Dahal to answer in the parliament regarding his recent India visit. He said that his party had no objections except point no.10 to the joint statement issued during the visit. 

Nepal Rastriya Janamorcha's Chitra Bahadur KC said that his party had serious objections to the most of the issues included in the joint statement. 

Similarly, Nepal Workers and Peasants Party's Prem Suwal stated that his party had also objections to points no. 11 and 13 of the same communiqué. 

On the other hand, Gopal Dahit opined for resolving the political problem through a political way, stating that the then government oppressed the common people's voices for democracy and identity. 

Dimpal Kumari Jha said that a conspiracy was hatched from all sides to sabotage the Madhesi community. 

Lawmaker Janakraj Joshi called for maintaining social harmony, urging all leaders not to keep them engaged in minor disputes. 

Som Prasad Pandey said if media reports about change in the boundary of the proposed Province no. 6 were true, such change was not acceptable to the Province people. 

Yagya Raj Sunuwar drew the government attentions towards rising smuggling of gold, inflation and sluggish progress on the post-quake rebuilding efforts. 

Prior to this, putting their views in the zero-hour of the parliament, lawmakers demanded the guarantee of smooth supplies of daily commodities during the festivals. RSS
