General Secretary of the Nepali Congress Sashank Koirala has said the country is at a critical juncture of history.

Speaking at a programme on Thursday, Koirala said if the country failed to hold elections in all three tiers, the political and legal vaccum would loom large again.

Holding elections is one of the challenging tasks, he added.  It was BP Koirala who demanded constitution be framed by the people themselves in 2008 BS, he said, adding that all political parties need to be united to institutionalise the achievements made so far.
