The meeting of the Gathabandhan held Thursday at the Office of the Sanghiya Samajwadi Forum Nepal office at Tinkune took a decision to take to the streets if the constitution amendment bill was not registered by coming November 15.
As no indication was seen whereby the government would register the bill, a decision was taken to resume agitation, said the Gathabandhan's Secretariat member Keshav Jha.
"Programmes of protest will begin from tomorrow in one form or the other but we will wait until mid-November, and then go for nationwide agitation if it does not take place within that time," Jha said.
Coordinator of the Gathabandhan Upendra Yadav, Chairman of Tarai Madhesh Loktantrik Party Mahantha Thakur, President of Tarai Madhesh Samajbadi Party Sharat Singh Bhandari, and other leaders attended the meeting.
