The government has been making preparation to register constitution amendment proposal at the Legislature-Parliament based on the consensus of major political parties, within few days.

Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, who is on continuous consultation for constitution amendment process, on Friday, told Chairman of the Tarai-Madhes Loktantrik Party, Mahantha

Thakur, that the government was making preparation to register the constitution amendment proposal soon.

The government made such preparation on the basis of discussion among three major political parties held at the official residence of the Prime Minister at Baluwatar on Friday.

Chairman Thakur said that he found the government ready to address the demands of disgruntled sides during the meeting with the PM on Friday.

Thakur said, "The PM has assured to register the amendment proposal within few days."

Madhes-centric parties, who have shown reservations on some issues of the new constitution, drew the attention of the government to address the demands. RSS
