TUTH resident docs to halt hospital services except emergency
The National Resident Doctors Association (NRDA), expressing their solidarity to the indefinite hunger strike being staged by TUTH senior orthopedic surgeon Dr Govinda KC, have decided to halt all other hospital services except for emergency service from Wednesday.

NRDA Chairman Dr Leision Maharjan informed that an emergency meeting of the association took the decision to this effect.
The associated said that they were forced to take such steps as the government has not paid any heed to the demands of Dr KC, who has been fasting for the last 17 days. This is Dr KC's 10th hunger strike seeking reforms in Nepal's medical education and service sector.
