PM seeks support from BRB, Yadav

During the meeting, PM Dahal sought support from the two leaders to approve the constitution amendment bill in Parliament and discussed local body elections, among other matters, according to PM’s Press Adviser Govinda Acharya.
He said the bill was registered to address the demands of the agitating political parties.
Sharing that the government would announce the dates for the local level elections in a few days, the PM urged the two leaders to support the cause, Acharya said, adding that Dahal also discussed about their joint statement last week. In the statement, Bhattarai and Yadav made public their position on various issues of the constitution that needed to be amended.
