Engineers, overseers and sub-overseers deployed at 11quake-hit districts have announced to resign in masse on December 20 if their demands were not addressed by Dec 19.
They made such announcement arguing that no conducive environment was built to carryout works after demands they put forth time and again were not addressed.
The demands put forth by the technicians include arrangement of offices in different places and immediate release of allowances, said Engineer Sanjeev Amgai.
Out of 2, 571 technicians deployed for reconstruction task, 220 have left the task saying they were not provided allowance as said in the beginning. RSS
