The meeting convened at Singha Durbar Sunday morning concluded to continue the obstruction against the anti-national bill.
UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli said tabling amendment bill just to appease the foreign forces was not acceptable to them. "People's mandate is against the constitution amendment. Protests against amendment cannot be stopped," said Oli.
Oli has also appealed to lawmakers to present themselves in courteous and dignified manner. Opposition parties have said they will protest in courteous and dignified manner if the bill if tabled forcefully.
Eknath Dhakal, Chairman of one of the opposition Nepal Pariwar Dal, said, "We cannot let the proposal that will have far-reaching impact enter the Parliament. We have decided to continue House obstruction."
