Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal said that implementation of constitution was essential to lead the country towards economic prosperity.

The Prime Minister made the statement while inaugurating the Rolpa trade and business fair held in Liwang, the district headquarters of Rolpa, on Friday.

PM Dahal said that socialism could be built through development and economic progress rather than revolution and movement.

During the programme, PM Dahal, who is also the Chairman of CPN (Maoist Centre), said that Rolpa could be developed as war tourism destination as the district has played a significant role in the political change.

“I used to come to Rolpa during the hard time of war period to energise myself,” the Prime Minister said, adding, “Now, I have come to Rolpa to ask for the support and cooperation from the Rolpali’s for the implementation of constitution.”

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance Krishna Bahadur Mahara, former Finance Minister Barshaman Pun had accompanied the Prime Minister.
