Legendary singer Joshi honoured in Itahari
Rampam Arena Music Video Award 2073 was held at Itahari on Tuesday. The ceremony honoured popular 80-year old singer and choreographer LP Joshi with Lifetime Achievement Award. Joshi, who has been contributing to the field of Nepali music industry for decades, has sung popular and legendary folk songs including Riting Riting Nabajau Binayo, Binayole Maan Mero Chhinayo, among others.
At the event Hari Humagain was awarded Best Cinematographer while Ram Krishna Dhakal and Milan Amatya bagged the title of Best Adhunik Pop Singer Male and Best Adhunik Pop Singer Female, respectively. Vibhor Pokharel was honoured with the Best Director award at the ceremony.
Likewise, Basanta Sapkota and Ravi Malla won the award for Best Composer and Best Debut Singer, respectively. The award for the Best Pop Singer Female went to Pradhna Sakhya, while the award of Best Pop Singer Male was bagged by Bijay Lama.
Similarly, the award for the Best Editor was presented to Tekendra Shah; and Anju Gautam was presented with the award for Best Purbeli Lok Song. Pal Shah and Supriya Katuwal also won the award for the Best Male Model and Best Female Model, respectively, while Bharat Babu KC won the award for Best Lyricist.
The awards were presented under 15 different categories.
