Parajuli denies her involvement in manpower business

The Cabinet meeting on Feb 21 had picked Parajuli to head Nepal’s embassy in Oman.
“There is no truth in the news reports that surfaced in the media right after my recommendation for the ambassadorial post,” said Parajuli at a press conference on Saturday evenin. “I was surprised to hear such news.”
She said that she left her Cosmotology business after the earlier KP Oli-led government recommended her for the post of ambassador.
Refuting the rumours that she was deported by Malaysian government in 2006 as baseless, she told the media to check here passport and verify it from the Malaysia embassy in Nepal.
She went on to say that her recommendation was purely based on her diplomatic potential and experience. She further claimed that the she had played an import role in the singing of labour agreement the government of Nepal and Bahrain in the past.
She explained that she, apart from her studies, had been actively involved in resolving the problems faced by Nepali migrant workers in the Middle East and enhancing bilaterial ties between Nepal and many countries in the region in the capacity of the vice chairperson of Nepal Dubai Chamber of Commerce.
Lastly, she said she expected media constructive role in ensuring the policy of inclusiveness and women’s participation in every state organ.
