TU directs campuses to conduct FSU polls on slated date

FSU Election Central Monitoring and Coordination Committee member secretary Ganga Bahadur Magar issued a circular and directed the campuses to make changes to the election table and conduct the election on the scheduled date. The circular directs the colleges to complete the election by 10 am on February 25 and 26. Earlier the elections were slated for February 25 and 26.
Campuses where the time table was halted from the beginning should also follow it, directs the committee.
Secretary Magar informed only 22 of the 60 campuses registered candidates for the election due to padlocking and obstruction by disgruntled student unions. Magar said the padlocking in campuses will be opened and talks were being held with student unions, TU officials and campuses.
