According to the Eastern Regional Police Office, Biratnagar, the deceased has been identified as Inardev Yadav, 55, of Jamunimadhepura-1 of Saptari district.
Meanwhile, agitating Samyukta Loktantrik Madhesi Morcha leaders and cadres had reached the hospital this afternoon to take the body.
Earlier on Wednesday, Birendra Mahato of Maleth – 4 breathed his last while undergoing treatment at the same hospital.
Sanjan Mahato, 25 of Maleth – 2, Pitambar Mandal, 50, of Maleth – 4 and Saniyar Aheb Ananda Kumar Sah, 35, of Tangari of Prasabani – 4 had died on the spot on Monday when police opened fire on protesters who were trying to disrupt the Mechi-Mahakali campaign organised by the main opposition CPN-UML.
