Two Nepalis die, one missing in India avalanche

Mar 14, 2017- Two Nepalis have died and one other is still missing in an avalanche at Budi, Pithoragarh, in the Uttarakhand state of India on Saturday.

The news of the tragedy came into light a few days later because of the remoteness of the place.

The deceased Nepalis have been identified as Suresh Kunwar, 22, of Huti, Darchula and Mohan Bhatta, 45, of Mahadev, Baitadi. Bhupendra Kunwar, 21, of Huti has been since the incident and the local authority has been searching for him.

Darchula Administration, quoting the Indian police, informed that almost 15 people, who had gone to Uttarakhand for work, were in the area when the avalance occured. The rest of them survived the calamity.
