Sanghiya Gathabandan unveils month-long agitation programmes

A meeting of the alliance chaired by its coordinator Upendra Yadav decided to launch its phase-wise protest including severing ties with the current government under Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal.
As part of its protest programmes, the alliance will hold non-cooperation and civil disobedience agitation on March 17.
The Gathabandan protest includes public hearings in district headquarters and key market places on why the local level elections under provincial jurisdiction, condolence assemblies across the nation, candle light vigil at Maitighar Mandala in Kathmandu, and burning copies of local level restructuring report (without autonomous region, protected area and, special zones).
Likewise, the Gathabandan aligned Tharuhat Tarai party and Tharuhat Sanyukta Sangharsha Samiti will hold protest rallies in Dhangadhi and Kailali on March 28, while Khasan Rastriya Sangharsha Samiti and Tharuhat Samyukta Sangharsha Samiti will organise a mass protest in Attariya of Kailali district on March 29.
In the same manner, the Gathabandan aligned Tamuwan Sangharsa Samiti and Kirat Sangharsa Samiti will organise mass rallies in Pokhara and Udayapur on March 30 and March 31 respectively.
Likewise, Sanghiya Limbuwan Rastriya Manch and Limbuwan Samyukta Sangharsa Samiti will organise a mass rally in Damak on April 1 and Tamsaling Sangharsa Samiti and Adibasi Janjati Party will organise a mass rally in Hetauda on April 2.
Before wrapping up the protest on April 3, Newa Swayatta Rajya Samyukta Sangharsa Samiti, Nepa Rastriya Party and Tamsaling Sanyukta Sangharsa Samiti will organise rallies in Kathmandu.
