Chinese Defence Minister meets PM Dahal

During the meeting, PM Dahal said that Nepal and China have long been sharing a close relationship. This kind of high level visit would further strengthen the relationship between two countries, he added.
PM Dahal, who is also the Chairman of ruling CPN (Maoist Centre), said that Nepal is fully committed to ‘One China Policy’.
On the occasion, he said that Nepal has always been protesting global spirit of free movements of Tibetans in Nepal.
PM Dahal said that Nepal was willing to be part of One Bolt One Road (OBOR) project.
Saying that China had played an instrumental role to stabilise politics and economic development in Nepal, PM Dahal expressed his satisfaction over the developing relationship between Nepal Army and People’s Liberation Army of China.
Meanwhile, Minister Chang Wanquan wished PM Dahal’s China visit beginning today would be successful.
