Pakistan’s Imam Ul Haq stole the show by scoring a century plus four in 135 balls and remained not out throughout the innings.
Nepali bowlers struggled to take wickets with opener Imran Butt being bowled, but only after the Pakistani side put up 67 runs on the board. Haris Sohail was next to go scoring 17 runs followed by Mohammad Rizwan (10 runs). Hussail Talat faced three balls before returning back to the pavilion for naught.
For Nepal, Sandeep Lamichhane and Gyanendra Malla took two wickets each.
Earlier, Nepal had posted a target of 181 runs with a loss of nine wickets after Pakistan won the toss and chose to field first.
Sunil Dhamala top scored with 43 runs off 126 balls and Sharad Vesawkar contributed 38 runs off 58 balls for Nepal.
Similarly, Binod Bhandari and Dipendra Airee scored 22 runs and 14 runs respectively.
Likewise, Arif Sheikh made 16 runs in the last over, while others failed to reach double digit mark.
Nepal are kept in Group B along with U-23 teams of Test playing nations Bangladesh and Pakistan, and national team of Hong Kong.
