Vehicular movement along the Narayangadh-Muglin road section, which was disrupted following a dry landslide at Charkilo, has resumed after police personnel removed the debris at around 12:30 pm today.

Dry landslide disrupts Narayangadh-Muglin road section

The Narayangadh-Muglin road section has been disrupted due to a dry landslide in Charkilo along the Narayangarh-Muglin road section on Friday.

According to the District Police Office, Chiwan, vehicular movement along the road section has been obstructed since 9 am this morning after the landslide covered the road at Charkilo in Chitwan district.

The place has been witnessing landslides for the past three days, said Narayangadh-Muglin Road Project Engineer Shiva Khanal, adding that no human casualties were reported in the incident.

Engineer Khanal informed that efforts are underway to clear debris from the road.

There are 11 places at high risk of landslides along the road section.

 The disrupted road is likely to come into operation after an hour, said Khanal. RSS
