A central office bearers meeting of the party held in the Capital on Friday made the decision to this effect.
The party would go for referendum at all 744 local levels on April 18.
The meeting, chaired by Chairman Kamal Thapa, also took a decision to impart awareness to the people on these issues and launch protest to create pressure, said party's deputy spokesperson Mohan Shrestha.
As part of the protest, demonstrations would be held at all district election offices across the nation on April 21 to draw their attention, he added.
The EC had on March 17 decided to remove constitutional monarchy and Hindu state from the statute, citing they were not in accordance with the new constitution. RSS
